How does the diVa Treatment Work?

The diVa treatment uses infrared light to heat the deeper layers of skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production. This leads to repair and remodeling of the targeted tissues, leading to an improvement in the look and feel of the external vagina.

During treatment, a numbing cream may be applied to increase your comfort. Next, a vaginal dilator will be inserted which will emit two laser wavelengths. The shorter wavelength works to smooth the walls of the vagina, while the longer wavelengths work to tighten and strengthen the tissue of the vaginal walls. Following treatment, there is no downtime required, so you can return to your regular activities.  Most women require a few treatments to reach their personal goals.
