What is the Restylane Collection?
The Restylane Collection is a family of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers indicated for patients 21 years and older. These hyaluronic acid fillers are used to enhance facial contours and reduce the appearance of lines, mild to severe facial wrinkles, and signs of aging. Each filler in this collection is unique in that it addresses specific facial concerns. The Restylane family is comprised of the following dermal fillers.
Restylane and Restylane-L
Restylane was the first hyaluronic acid filler approved by the FDA for wrinkle correction and skin rejection. Restylane-L contains lidocaine to reduce discomfort during treatment. Both Restylane and Restylane-L are effective options for smoothing nasolabial folds and augmenting the lips. Patients can enjoy Restylane results for 6-18 months, depending on the treated area.
Restylane Lyft with Lidocaine
Restylane Lyft is a safe and effective HA filler used for facial wrinkles, cheek augmentation, and hand rejuvenation. It is formulated with lidocaine to help ensure the comfort of our patients. Restylane Lyft results can be enjoyed for up to one year in the cheeks and up to six months in the face and hands.
Restylane Silk
Restylane Silk is specifically formulated for effective lip augmentation and treatment of perioral wrinkles. Patients can enjoy Restylane Silk results for up to six months.
Restylane Kysse
Restylane Kysse is designed for lip augmentation and upper perioral wrinkles. It is created with XpresHAn Technology™, an innovative crosslinked HA gel for natural-looking results. Patients can enjoy Restylane Kysse results for up to one year.
Restylane Refyne
Restylane Refyne is designed to smooth moderate facial wrinkles and folds around the mouth, such as nasolabial folds and marionette lines. It is specifically formulated to move with your expressions for natural-looking results. Patients can enjoy Restylane Refyne results for up to one year.
Restylane Defyne
Restylane Defyne is created to address deeper facial wrinkles, as well as for chin augmentation. Patients can enjoy Restylane Defyne results for up to one year.
Restylane Contour
Restylane Contour is the only cheek filler designed with XpresHAn Technology to restore cheek definition and achieve midface contouring. Patients can enjoy Restylane Contour results for up to one year.
Restylane Eyelight
Restylane Eyelight is superficially developed to improve undereye hollows and reduce shadows. Patients can enjoy Restylane Kysse results for up to 18 months.
The Restylane Treatment Process
During your Restylane filler treatment, we will offer the option of a topical numbing cream to ensure your comfort. Some of the Restylane collection fillers already contain lidocaine, which causes extra numbing, which is not usually necessary. The filler of your choice will then be skilfully injected into the designated areas for correction. The length of your treatment may vary depending on the size and number of treatment areas.
Ideal Restylane Filler Candidates
Ideal Restylane filler candidates will be 21 years or older, be in overall good health, and have realistic expectations for their results. However, those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of severe allergies, or have a bleeding disorder should not receive these fillers. Safety Information
Restylane fillers are FDA-approved and have a strong safety profile. However, common side effects include redness at the injection site and mild tenderness or lumps.
